Has anyone dealt with this before? I don't want to have to remove this host and start over because of all the configuration. The upgrade seems to work fine but I get the same error when the host is rebooted after upgrade. I have reverted back to the old version of ESXi and attempted to run an upgrade to the installation again from USB, preserving the vmfs. When rebooting, it now fails throwing the following error:Įrror 33 (Inconsistent data) while decompressing data When I activated FIPS on the 2nd host I did so in a slightly different way and the host rebooted after the operation. I performed the operation on the first host (of four) and after running into a lost Administrator password problem on that host it is operating fine. We went in and activated FIPS to mitigate weak TLS ciphers in use on our hosts.
